Why you should train with a discus bar: The discus bar mimics the feeling of the discus while giving you more control as you work on your technique and it's the perfect option for adding much needed variety to your training! Also, the discus bar allows you to throw even when the weather is not ideal. Perfect for cold weather throwing!

Add the discus bar to your throws training arsenal to ensure high-quality training as you develop your throwing technique, speed, and strength.

Who will benefit from using the discus bar? Although the discus bar is able to help any discus thrower improve their technique, throwers who already know how to do the spin technique will see the biggest benefits. It's stable design helps the athlete focus on the part of the technique they are trying to improve and makes it so they don't have to worry about the discus flying bad or falling out of their hand.

What size discus bar should you use? For regular training and while working on your technique I suggest using the same weight as the discus you throw. Using the same weight helps you learn the rotational technique properly without having to force an overweight object when you're not ready for it!
